How Amanda Kloots Is Celebrating Late Husband Nick Cordero
It's game, set, match for Amanda Kloots and Justin Gimelstob.
After all, the Talk alum showed off her sweet romance with the retired tennis player at the Unforgettable Evening gala hosted by the Women's Cancer Research Fund April 28.
For the evening, Amanda arrived at the Beverly Hilton in a pastel blue gown featuring folded sleeves and a daring slit down the middle. For Justin's part, he complemented his date in a dark blue suit with a pastel blue button-up shirt.
The couple, who made their first public appearance at the event, have emphasized that they're taking their time with this new chapter.
"It's been absolutely lovely," the TV personality—who is mom to 5-year-old son Elvis Eduardo Cordero with her late husband Nick Cordero—told People at the gala. "It kind of happened very naturally, which is great."
Meanwhile, the former athlete—who previously won the Australian Open and French Open mixed doubles with Venus Williams in 1998—couldn't help but gush over their budding romance.
"She's just an incredibly special person," the 48-year-old told the outlet. "Obviously, she's physically beautiful, but the way she handles everything. She's so classy and has so much grace and is an amazing mother.
"She cares about people," Justin—who shares 11-year-old son Brandon Gimelstob with ex Cary Sinnott—continued. "She's generous in spirit. She has a beautiful energy and is an amazing athlete. I mean, I could keep going and going."

Amanda's new relationship comes nearly five years after Nick, whom she married in 2017, died of complications caused by Covid in July 2020. Since his tragic death at 41, Amanda had focused on taking care of herself and finding ways to move forward.
"This is the roller coaster of grief," she recently told E! News in July 2021. "You just never know what a day is going to bring. You could wake up and be completely OK. And then you could wake up and it hit you like a ton of bricks."
While the 41-year-old struggled to even get out of bed following his death, their son Elvis was the motivation she needed to look at life through a more positive lens.

"My goal is to open my eyes that morning with that feeling," she explained. "We're going to celebrate instead of being sad."
And when Amanda feels herself stuck, she looks back at the Broadway star for support.
"Any time I feel lost or sad, or stuck, or question what happened," she explained, "I always go back to, 'What would Nick want for us right now?' It immediately gets me out of a sad-grief place and it puts me in a happy-grief place of, 'I have to live my life for him. I have to give Elvis every opportunity I can for him.'"
