I am new to ON1 RAW 2025.1. How can I put a black or white stroke around a photo?

You mean a frame or just paint brushing?

increase the canvas size and change the color to what you want. This was increased 10 pix in width and height in PS.

I use this method to put mats and frames on my photos- a film group I belonged to years ago required photos entered on competition night be matted and framed, It took a lot of matts and frames of different colors and sizes to enter every month.

A sample of my frames: so easy to do: do one of enlarging the canvas size and leave it white or add a color - save it and the do another canvas size a little larger and choose your color - save it,

I thank you all for the information. But, how do you increase the canvas size?

I guess you didn't notice that he said "This was increased 10 pix in width and height in PS," which means Ps or, Photoshop.
I found this online:
In ON1 Photo RAW 2025, you can add a stroke or border to your images using the Borders filter. Here's how:
Open your image in ON1 Photo RAW 2025.
Navigate to the Effects tab.
Add the Borders filter:
Click on "Add Filter" and select "Borders" from the list.
Choose a border style:
Browse through the available border styles and select one that suits your image.
Customize the border:
Adjust settings such as blend mode, opacity, tone, and color to fine-tune the border's appearance.
Modify the size, fit, rotation, and flip options to align the border with your image as desired.
For a more detailed walkthrough, you can refer to the ON1 tutorial on using the Borders filter.
Additionally, ON1 offers creative border packs, such as the Painted Borders pack, which provides hand-painted styles to give your photos a unique touch.

I noticed that, but wanted to know how to do it in On1. I know how to do it in an easier way in Elements.

I edited my post to show info I found for On1. I just bought that too, and I am watching videos to learn it.
